John Piccirilli

As a Director at Verdence, John brings over 20 years of consulting experience with a focus on the financial complexities facing business owners, multi-generational families, and private investors. He focuses on private equity, estate planning, and philanthropic investment strategies.
John is a U.S. Army veteran and seasoned leader whose military service and commitment to helping others continue to shape his work with families navigating critical financial decisions. In 2009, John founded HNP Capital LLC, then later served as President of Five Star Bank Wealth Management in Rochester, NY.
Prior to his move to Sarasota, Florida in 2021, John served on several boards in Rochester, including Hillside Children’s Center and the George Eastman Circle, and remains actively engaged in his community. Outside of Verdence, John enjoys traveling with his family and golfing with his son.
