Michele Welsh
Chief Marketing Officer
Michele leads the firm’s brand and marketing strategy, overseeing digital strategy, communications, client experience, media, events, advisor marketing, and initiatives that support organic growth. As a member of the C-suite leadership team, she works across the firm to help ensure the Verdence brand and client experience evolve alongside the needs of its clients and the growth of the business.
She leads an internal marketing team and external partners, supporting strategic initiatives including geographic expansion, M&A integration, and new business lines. An early adopter of AI, Michele completed MIT’s AI as Business Strategy program and has guest lectured at the Harvard Innovation Lab on the intersection of AI and Design Thinking.
Michele is a co-founder and board member of Sisters Circle, a mentoring program for girls and young women from underserved communities in Baltimore.

“My three kids and husband, who are the funniest and most caring humans I know; Learning and brainstorming; Travel, Travel, Travel.”
If you were stranded in the desert, what 3 things would you want to have with you and why?
“1.) A Keurig (because, coffee)
2.) My iPad with unlimited battery (I’m a techie)
3.) A Leatherman Tool (because you can do everything from fixing your Keurig and iPad to filing your nails with it)”
