Sarah Mouser

As the Managing Director of Financial Planning at Verdence, Sarah Mouser works closely with the entire Verdence team to develop custom, individualized planning strategies for clients. She helps the firm’s financial planning services to stay ahead of the curve delivering seamless, integrated and holistic solutions. Sarah also oversees the firm’s training and mentorship programs to support career development.

With over 20 years in wealth management, she specializes in strategic financial planning, tax strategies, education planning, estate and legacy planning, and elder care. Before Verdence, she spent 11 years as Director of Financial Planning at Cassaday & Company, guiding tailored wealth strategies. She has also held advisory roles at Savant Capital and Ameriprise Financial Services. Beyond work, Sarah serves on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit supporting individuals with dementia and is a founding member of Virginia Tech’s Financial Planning and Wealth Management Advisory Board.
