HUNT VALLEY, MD – August 22, 2017 – Verdence Capital Advisors today announced that it would be expanding and opening a second office in Vienna, Virginia, to handle the firm’s growing business in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia corridor. The new office handles nearly $200 million in assets and is located at 8230 Leesburg Pike, Suite 520, in Vienna, Virginia. Verdence Managing Director and Partner Charles S. Holt, who has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, will lead the office.
Mr. Holt specializes in developing and implementing advanced planning and investment strategies for high-net-worth families. He concentrates on clients’ primary concerns: preservation of capital, tax minimization and lifetime cash flow needs. Mr. Holt, who formerly served as Managing Director at Pagnato Karp HighTower, is joined by Private Wealth Associate Annie McCann, Junior Analyst Lucas R. Belanger and Cate Hawrylak, founder of Evolve Concierge. Ms. McCann previously served as a Senior Private Wealth Associate for HighTower and a Senior Client Associate for 22 years at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Belanger brings experience with the Pagnato Karp HighTower group to the team and will assist the staff with financial modeling and investment strategy. Cate Hawrylak launched Evolve Concierge in 2016 and has partnered with Verdence to provide exceptional concierge services for their clients.
