Verdence Capital Advisors Named One of the Best Places to Work In Baltimore
By the Baltimore Business Journal (BBJ)
Hunt Valley, MD – May 9, 2025
Verdence Capital Advisors (Verdence), an independent private wealth advisory firm, is honored to announce that it has been selected as a 2025 Best Places to Work honoree by the Baltimore Business Journal.
The Best Places to Work Baltimore awards place a spotlight on companies in the Greater Baltimore area that have created an exceptional workplace culture, as determined by an employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace. Companies are evaluated on team dynamics, trust in leadership, communication practices, and more.
“Our entire team is thrilled to accept this honor,” said Leo Kelly, Founder and CEO of Verdence. “Since day one, we have made it a priority to create a workplace where every employee feels valued, supported, and is fully equipped with the resources needed to thrive. But a workplace is just that, a place. It needs to be filled with the right people, fueling the right culture, to drive everyone’s success. We’ve long felt we had all of those pieces in place, and this honor from the BBJ helps make it official.”

These areas ranged from compensation and benefits to trust in senior leadership. The survey also measured the level of engagement exhibited by employees. The Business Journal required a $250 submission fee for consideration.
