Verdence Capital Advisors Welcomes Michael Salerno as Director, Due Diligence
Baltimore, MD – December 21, 2021 – Verdence Capital Advisors (“Verdence”), a nationally-recognized private wealth advisory and multi-family office firm, today announced the addition of Michael Salerno to its team as Director, Due Diligence. Mr. Salerno will focus on macro views, fund evaluations, and risk management, while serving as the overall steward for Verdence’s investment manager platform.
Mr. Salerno has nearly 20 years of experience in the institutional investment advisory industry, most recently as Senior Investment Director within the Capital Markets Research team at Cambridge Associates. Prior to Cambridge, he served as a member of the investment team at RockCreek.
In his new role, Mr. Salerno will work closely with Verdence’s research team to enhance their investment manager selection and due diligence approach by researching fund managers’ governance, integrity, structure, performance, efficiencies, and impact.
