Mike’s illustrious career has been marked by a record of integrity, growth, and achievement in global financial institutions. He values collaborative teamwork, innovation, and has proven to be a strong leader.

Prior to joining Verdence, Mike was the President of $3.3 Billion Campbell & Company LP, where he sat on the firm’s Board of Directors and Investment Committee. He also served as Chairman of the Board for the Managed Funds Association (MFA).

Mike leads the growth and enhanced offerings for Verdence’s fast-growing class of family office clients.

Mike is the Founder of the Carson Harris Foundation (CHF), a non-profit named after his daughter who, as an infant, was diagnosed with a rare form of epilepsy called “infantile spasms”.

Mike earned a B.A. with honors in Economics and Japanese Studies from Gettysburg College and studied at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan. He is a regular contributor on financial networks including CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business, and his opinions have been featured in numerous industry publications.  As a guest professor at several universities, Mike lectures on alternative investments, hedge funds, global economic trends, financial market trading, technology, political science, and more.
